Privacy notice.

This notice explains what personal information TrianglHouse collects through this website, why we use it, who we may share it with, and the choices available to you.

Who we are

TrianglHouse is the controller of personal information collected through trianglhouse.com.

For privacy questions or requests, email hello@trianglhouse.com.

Information we collect

If you contact us through the website or by email, we may collect:

  • Your name and email address.
  • The contents of your message and any project information you choose to provide.
  • The date and time of your enquiry and the IP address used to submit the form.
  • For Drywall, your chosen or automatically generated collaborator name, shared board content, room identifier, and any images you upload.
  • Technical information contained in standard website and server logs, such as browser type, requested pages, timestamps, and security events.

How and why we use it

  • To respond to enquiries, discuss services, prepare proposals, and take steps before entering into a contract.
  • To deliver work and manage client relationships where we enter into a contract.
  • To provide Drywall shared rooms, synchronise board changes, show active collaborators, and make uploaded images available to people using the same room link.
  • To protect the website, prevent spam and misuse, diagnose faults, and maintain reliable services. We rely on our legitimate interests in operating and securing the business.
  • To maintain records or respond to lawful requests where this is necessary to meet a legal obligation.

We do not sell personal information or use contact-form information for unrelated advertising.

Cookies and similar technologies

This website does not currently use analytics cookies, advertising cookies, or tracking pixels. The human-check feature does not use a third-party CAPTCHA service.

The Drywall prototype uses your browser's local storage to cache the board title, objects, connectors, room identifier, and collaborator details on your device. This is used only to provide the board, recovery, and collaboration features you request. It is not used for analytics or advertising. You can remove the local copy by clearing this site's stored data in your browser.

When you use a shared Drywall room, its board content and uploaded images are also sent to and stored on the TrianglHouse hosting service. Anyone with the room link can view and change that prototype board, so you should not add confidential, sensitive, or personal information.

If this changes, we will update this notice and request consent before using any non-essential storage or tracking technology where required.

Service providers and sharing

We use IONOS to host the website and support its email delivery. Information may be processed on systems operated by IONOS when you visit the site or submit the contact form.

The site currently requests font files through Google Fonts. This causes your browser to connect to Google and send technical request information such as your IP address and browser details.

We may also disclose information to professional advisers, technology suppliers, regulators, courts, or law-enforcement bodies where reasonably necessary or legally required. We require service providers handling information for us to protect it appropriately.

International transfers

Some technology providers may process information outside the United Kingdom. Where this happens, we expect the provider to use an applicable legal transfer mechanism and appropriate safeguards.

How long we keep information

General enquiries are normally retained for up to 24 months after the last meaningful contact. If an enquiry becomes a client relationship, relevant project, contractual, financial, and correspondence records may be kept for up to six years or longer where the law requires it.

Drywall prototype rooms and uploaded images are retained while the prototype is operating and may be removed during maintenance. You can request deletion of a room by sending its room link to hello@trianglhouse.com.

Technical and security logs are retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for hosting, troubleshooting, fraud prevention, and security.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may have the right to ask us for access to your personal information, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or to object to particular uses. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent.

To exercise a right, email hello@trianglhouse.com. We may need to verify your identity before responding.

Complaints

Please contact us first if you have a concern so we can try to resolve it. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office through ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint.

Changes to this notice

We may update this notice when our services, providers, or legal obligations change. The latest version will always be published on this page with its revision date.
